Logline:

"The Audition" is a short film starring Claudia Christian as an actress who has had it with the industry. Her latest audition involves her having to act like a British man in front of a bunch of unkind disinterested casting people and a lunatic director. She nails the audition but feels like she failed, we get a glimpse of the neurosis involved with the acting profession courtesy of a hilarious ongoing voice over in Claudia's head. "The Audition" is a comedic look at the insecurity of Hollywood and all of it's craziness!"

• Casting director: a butch woman, very tough no nonsense-Holly Evans
• Director of film: a gay man, very indecisive -David Honl
• Actress: neurotic but very talented -Claudia Christian
• Casting assistant: a very frightened newbie, young and scared male or female eager to please -20's
• Receptionist at Casting Office: bored 20-40-ish man or woman any race receptionist in a casting suite

• Actresses: 3 women age 18-45 any race ; actresses waiting to be called into a high pressure audition-comedy a plus, must be able to react well (or be directed easily)
